Duvilax WME, Duvilax WME-AK
Production technology was realized in DUSLO Šaľa. Duvilax WME is an aqueous dispersion of copolymer of polyvinyl acetate (PVAc) with derivatives of acrylic acid and neodecanoic (versatic) acid stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and emulsifier. Duvilax WME-AK is an aqueous copolymer dispersion of vinyl ester of neodecanoic (versatic) acid, acrylate esters and vinyl acetate. They are used as mixtures for the production of paints and sprays
Direct nitrosation of diphenylamine with nitrous gases
The technology of direct nitrosation of diphenylamine by nitrous gases is realized in the present technology of production of antiozonants in Duslo Šaľa, Slovakia.
A new process for the production of PADA (para-aminodiphenylamine) by direct condensation of aniline and nitrobenzene followed by hydrogenation using an original catalyst. There are elaborated documents for the realization of the production technology. PADA is the basic intermediate for the production of antiozonants.
2-MBT a Sulfenax CBS
The production technologies of 2-MBT (2-mercaptobenzothiazole) melt and Sulfenax CBS (N-cyclohexylbenzothiazole-2-sulfenamide) are implemented in Istrochem Bratislava, Slovakia. The capacity of production of raw 2-MBT melt and Sulfenax CBS, which is used as a vulcanization accelerator in the rubber industry, is among the most important in the world.

DASA 26/13 and DASA 26/5
The production technology of DASA 26/13 and DASA 26/5 was implemented in Duslo Šaľa, Slovakia. DASA is a granular fertilizer with 13% resp. 5% of sulphur and 26% of nitrogen content. DASA 26/13 is intended for sulphur-intensive crops and for soils with high sulphur deficiency. DSA 26/5 is a granulated fertilizer which with its 5% sulphur content will cover the most essential sulphur requirement, especially for grain and forage, and on soils that are not high in sulphur deficiency.
The removal of nitrite and nitrate ions from wastewater by biological denitrification is carried out in Duslo a.s. Šaľa. This process significantly reduces the intake of nitrogen compounds to the Váh river.
Aniline for 2-MBT production
Sulfane, isolated from the processed waste sulfane stream from the production of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole, reduces nitrobenzene by mono-alkylamine catalysis. The reaction mixture, after separation of the aqueous phase and drying, forms a solution of sulphur in aniline, and partially replaces the raw materials in the synthesis of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole.
DCBS (N, N-dicyclohexyl-2-benzothiazolesulfameamide) is prepared from 2-mercaptobenzothiazole and dicyclohexylamine by oxidative condensation. DCBS belongs to the group of sulfenamide type accelerators of vulcanization, derived from secondary amines. It differs from the sulphenamides derived from the primary amines in that the vulcanization rate is lower. This property in some areas of use may be advantageous.
